HELLO, welcome and thank you for visiting our blog site. We are Jayne and Dave – AKA – Hobo and the Vagabond, two middle aged and slightly creaky retirees who travel throughout Britain and Europe by cycle and campervan writing about what we see on our travels. It’s an eclectic mix about history, culture, heritage, nature, landscape and cake. Well, to be honest… it’s mostly about the cake because as everyone knows, it isn’t Strava that drives middle aged creaky cycle tourers – it’s all about the next cake shop! We are certainly not athletes, we’re far too easily distracted by views, beaches, castles, wildlife or historical houses (and cake!). We’d love to have you along for the ride!
